Prevention is the Best Medicine: Bongo Hospital Update

It was shoddy electrical wiring that led to Bongo Hospital’s operating theatre being destroyed by fire in 2013. Despite the blaze being a devastating blow to the hospital at the time, we are happy to report the theatre is back in full operation – but the work doesn’t stop there!

In addition to helping finance the construction of a new theatre, we at GMH have been working to improve the wiring infrastructure at Bongo to ensure the safety of the hospital and prevent future fire outbreaks. As the old adage goes, prevention is the best medicine. Since our efforts started, seven other priority hospital areas have been successfully rewired.
